Plasma Scanning Operator

- Major pharmaceutical company
- Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne
- Join the team as a Plasma Scanning Operator working within a fast-paced warehouse environment focused on the safe and accurate handling and scanning of plasma units
- Routine, repetitive, and manual, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously
- Casual contract, full time hours (Mon-Fri)
- Multiple positions available across day and afternoon shifts
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Request and remove pallets of plasma via the internal system
- Operate walkie stacker to safely move packages
- Transfer units from conveyor to pallet conveyor
- Empty pallet contents onto the scanning table
- Scan each plasma unit, place into crates, and return crates to conveyor
- Assist with repalletising and returning completed pallets to the freezer
- Complete documentation for any rejected or problematic units
- Maintain general housekeeping and follow all safety procedures
Skills/experience required:
- Prior work experience in a warehousing, pick/packing, or RF scanning environment
- Prior pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (advantageous)
- Current forklift license (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive and manual tasks - lift upto 12kg
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus
- Reliability, consistency, and a commitment to quality
- Willingness to learn and follow established processes
