About the Role
In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates and genuine long-term career opportunities within a well-established national contractor. As a Rigger, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting rigging and lifting activities across shutdown, maintenance and project scopes
- Performing complex lifts involving crushers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and structural components
- Installing and dismantling rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings and lifting beams
- Assisting with equipment positioning, alignment and component change-outs
- Working safely and in strict accordance with lifting plans, permit-to-work and isolation procedures
What You'll Need
Essential
- High Risk Work Licence – RI or RA
- Minimum 12 months rigging experience
- Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Construction White Card
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (MR or HR preferred)
- Valid Australian work rights
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
Highly Desirable
- Previous mining experience
- Client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.)
- Additional trade or high-risk tickets (EWP or Forklift)
