Warehouse Receiving Team Member
$33.85 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | Riverwood

Our client is a leading distributor of gaming, toys and pop culture merchandise, based in Riverwood, and is currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Receiving Team Member to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and getting the job done efficiently.

The Role
As a Warehouse Receiving Team Member, you will be responsible for ensuring incoming stock is received, checked and processed accurately.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Receive and safely unload deliveries from freight carriers
  • Check incoming stock against purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Identify and report shortages, damages and incorrect deliveries
  • Process received stock using warehouse management systems
  • Use handheld scanners and computer systems to record stock movements
  • Prioritise incoming deliveries according to operational requirements
  • Split, label and prepare stock for put-away
  • Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse
  • Safely use warehouse equipment including trolleys and pallet jacks
  • Operate wave pickers where trained and authorised
  • Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • At least 12 months' warehouse experience
  • A current Police Check
  • Experience using computers, warehouse systems and handheld scanners
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A methodical and organised approach
  • The ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • The ability to speak and read English
  • A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
  • A willingness to assist across the warehouse when required
  • Willing to undergo a fitness for work Medical / Drug & Alcohol test

Pay & Hours

  • $33.85 per hour
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekend work during peak periods
