SAP S/4HANA Change Lead (People)
Your new companyJoin a large and highly regarded Queensland-based organisation undertaking a major ERP transformation program. This program is delivering a modern SAP S/4HANA platform designed to streamline operations, improve employee experience, and support long-term organisational growth through contemporary, cloud-based technology solutions.
Your new roleAs the SAP S/4HANA Change Lead (People), you will play a pivotal role in driving business readiness and change adoption across the People Services stream of a significant SAP S/4HANA implementation. Working closely with business stakeholders, program teams and senior leaders, you will lead change management activities to ensure employees are prepared, supported and equipped for a successful transition to the new platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing the change management strategy aligned to program objectives.
- Leading stakeholder engagement and communication initiatives across impacted business areas.
- Developing and delivering communication and business readiness plans.
- Conducting change impact assessments and managing organisational readiness activities.
- Monitoring adoption, managing resistance and supporting post go-live transition activities.
- Ensuring sustainable change outcomes and successful embedding of new ways of working.
This is a multi-location role with offices based in Brisbane. Candidates from interstate are encouraged to apply. However, successful applicants will be required to travel to Brisbane approximately every 2-3 weeks.Contract Details

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful, you will demonstrate:
- 10+ years' experience delivering change management and business transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience leading large-scale ERP or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Experience working with Payroll and/or SAP Fieldglass implementations.
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR, Kotter or similar methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and business readiness capabilities.
- Experience managing change impacts, resistance management and adoption activities.
- Strong executive-level communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work across business and technical teams in complex environments.
- Previous local government or public sector experience will be highly regarded.
Desirable:
- Prosci or equivalent change management certification.
- SAP Activate methodology experience.
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Payroll and/or SAP Fieldglass implementation experience.
