D365 Specialist

Love fixing things? This one’s for you.
Every D365 person knows the feeling. You walk into a business after go-live, you see what’s broken, and you know exactly how to fix it. Usually someone tells you it’s out of scope. Not here.
Here, fixing it is the job.

The story so far
Our client is a privately owned group with several businesses under one roof. Earlier this year, their food manufacturing business in Melbourne’s North went live on Dynamics 365 for everything. It’s been a bumpy ride. Production is feeling the pain, the team is frustrated, and the business needs someone who can get in, roll up their sleeves, and make it work.

That’s chapter one. Chapter two is bigger: rolling D365 out across the rest of the group. The person who gets the first business humming is the person who’ll help shape what comes next.

What you’ll actually be doing

  • Getting stuck into the issue list and fixing things properly, not patching around them
  • Spending real time with production, operations, and finance, and understanding how they work before deciding what to change
  • Turning a system people tolerate into one they actually rely on
  • Being the trusted, go-to D365 voice in the business, reporting directly to the CFO
  • Helping shape the blueprint for taking D365 across the wider group

Why this is a genuinely good gig

  • You’ll see the impact of your work. No handover, no “phase two will address that.” You fix it, you see the difference, and the business sees it too.
  • You’ll have a seat at the table. Reporting to the CFO means your recommendations land with someone who can make decisions.
  • There’s a long runway. It’s a 12 month contract to start, with a lot more work in the pipeline and real potential to extend.
  • It’s a proper challenge. Not everyone is a fan of the system right now. If you love winning people over with results, you’ll thrive here.

You’ll be a great fit if you

  • Know Dynamics 365 inside out and are at your best after go-live, when the real work starts
  • Have worked in or alongside manufacturing or operations, and production experience is a big plus
  • Can explain a fix to a production supervisor and a CFO in the same afternoon, and be understood by both
  • Stay calm when things are messy and people are frustrated
  • Want to own something and see it through, rather than delivering and moving on

The details

  • 12 month contract with strong potential to extend
  • Onsite 3 to 4 days a week in Melbourne’s north
  • Reporting to the CFO
  • Immediate start for the right person
