Mechanical Estimator

We are currently working with an established mechanical contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their team, working across a strong pipeline of commercial construction & fit out projects.
This is a genuine opportunity for someone with solid commercial HVAC/mechanical estimating experience to step into a role with a reputable contractor and competitive package.

The Role

• Estimate and tender commercial mechanical/HVAC projects
• Review drawings, specifications and scopes
• Prepare accurate labour, material and subcontractor pricing
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process
• Identify project risks, opportunities and value-engineering options
• Work closely with the project and management teams

About You

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator
• Strong commercial HVAC/mechanical services background
• Experience pricing commercial construction projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical services, costs and construction methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
