About the Opportunity
Sequre Care Pty Ltd is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of Whack Sports Brisbane Pty Ltd for a Retail Store Manager to oversee the operations of its Albion store. This is a full-time, permanent role for a results-driven retail leader who can deliver strong sales performance, outstanding customer experience and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily store operations to ensure efficient and profitable trading
- Recruit, train, roster and develop a high-performing retail team
- Establish sales targets, monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to achieve budget
- Uphold high standards of customer service and manage escalated customer enquiries
- Manage inventory control, including purchasing, stock receipt, replenishment and stocktakes
- Plan and execute visual merchandising standards and promotional activities
- Oversee cash management, banking procedures and POS reconciliation
- Prepare and present sales, staffing and operational reports to senior management
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and relevant legislation
Selection Criteria
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Retail Management, Business or a related discipline, or a minimum of three years' relevant experience in retail management
- Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and motivating teams
- A proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management and rostering processes
- Strong organisational, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- An interest in sport or knowledge of sporting goods will be highly regarded
Remuneration and Benefits
- Annual salary of $80,000 plus superannuation
