Conveyor Technician

Premier People (PP) are a specialist labour hire provider supporting fixed plant maintenance across WA mining operations. We’re seeking experienced Mechanical Conveyor Technicians to join our shutdown teams, working across key scopes including rollers, frames, skirts, screens and scrapers. This isn’t general shutdown work — our crews are focused on conveyor system maintenance, so we’re looking for technicians with hands-on experience across these assets. As a Conveyor Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of conveyor systems across major mining operations. If you’ve got a strong work ethic and solid conveyor experience, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Maintaining and repairing conveyor system components including scrapers, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaners, tracking units, transfer chutes and structures Cleaning and adjusting primary and secondary scrapers Completing conveyor safety and operational inspections Working to site procedures with a strong focus on safety Requirements 6–12+ months experience in conveyor or fixed plant maintenance Exposure to rollers, skirts, scrapers, frames or screens Valid WA Driver’s Licence or Passport White Card Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E) Confined Space (RIIWHS202E) Gas Testing Atmosphere (MSMWHS217) First Attack Fire (CPPFES2005) Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and ongoing Drug & Alcohol screening How to Apply If you’re looking for shutdown work with a specialist fixed plant maintenance provider, apply now and one of our Premier People team will be in touch.
