Property Network of Australia is seeking a part-time Retail Property Manager to join a private property investment and asset management firm, overseeing a prominent retail asset in Hervey Bay.

In this highly flexible role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and operational oversight of a shopping centre asset, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You will oversee tenant relationships, financial management, and property standards, directly contributing to the owner's investment objectives.

Reporting to the Directors, you will coordinate contractors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, while identifying opportunities for asset enhancement and value creation.
 
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tenant relationships arrears management and operational activities at the asset
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure WHS compliance
  • Coordinate contractors and service providers to meet service standards
  • Analyse and report on centre performance using ReLeased software
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and manage property risk

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years+ experience in commercial/retail property or centre management
  • Proficiency in property management software (ReLeased) desired
  • Strong knowledge of retail property legislation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
