Our client is a global leader in their industry, with an established presence across construction, service and operations. They're looking for an Operations/Project Manager to take ownership of field activity and performance across Northern NSW — a role with genuine scope, autonomy, and a team that looks to you for direction.
This is a chance to step into a role with real breadth: leading people, delivering projects, supporting sales, and ensuring the operational success of your he operational strategy for an entire region.
The role:
Based in Newcastle, you'll coordinate and manage field activity across the Northern NSW region — covering Newcastle, Gosford, Nelson Bay/Foster, Tamworth, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the field workforce across Construction / Service / Maintenance work
- Overseeing efficient, safe and high-quality project delivery from end to end
- Partnering closely with Managers to ensure client contracts are delivered to standard
- Supporting Sales team in securing new projects and contracts for the region
- Championing continuous improvement and quality across your processes
- Ensuing team KPI compliance and SLA’s are met for client contracts
What you'll bring

- Strong business acumen, with the confidence to make decisions and drive outcomes
- Construction industry experience highly regarded
- Solid IT capability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level
- Current driver's licence
- A self-starter mentality — someone who thrives on autonomy and isn't afraid of a challenge
