Digital Designer
- Assist in-house creative team with digital design tasks
- Create and edit website assets, EDMs, and social media content
- Utilise Adobe XD and Premiere Pro for design and video editing
Our client, a retailer in the men's fashion space, is looking for a freelance Digital Designer to assist their in-house creative team from Monday 9 November. The initial engagement will be on a month-to-month basis, with the potential for ongoing work.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a digitally focused designer who can jump in quickly and help across website assets, EDMs, social media content and video editing.
The Work
You'll be working across a range of digital content and creative requirements, including:
- Website Assets: Creating, adapting and updating website assets, including preparing and resizing creative for different placements.
- EDMs: Building and designing EDMs using Adobe XD.
- Social Media: Creating digital content for social channels, including stories and promotional campaigns.
- Video Editing: Editing footage in Adobe Premiere Pro, adding graphics and music, and exporting content into different formats for websites and paid media.
- General Design: Assisting with occasional corporate documents and other creative requirements as needed.
What you bring to the table
- Digital Design Experience: You have solid experience creating digital assets for websites, email marketing and social media.
- Adobe XD: Experience with XD is essential, as this is the platform currently used by the team.
- Premiere Pro: You have intermediate video editing skills and can confidently cut footage, add graphics and music, and prepare content for different platforms.
- Creative Flexibility: You're comfortable moving between digital design, video editing and other creative tasks in a small, busy team.
- Availability: You're able to commence Monday 9 November and are open to an initial month-to-month freelance engagement.
The role is based in Malvern, and working onsite is strongly preferred to help you get familiar with the team's systems, workflow and creative assets. A computer will be provided.
