Prokids Education Group Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team and contribute to providing high-quality education and care for young children.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing by creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment. You will work closely with children, families, and other educators to deliver age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging educational programs that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Provide high-quality care, education, and supervision to young children.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate learning experiences and activities.
- Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and development.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment.
- Follow the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant legislation and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and documentation relating to children’s development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding children’s progress and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with other educators and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the centre.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training activities.
- Ensure all health, safety, hygiene, and child protection requirements are followed.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent recognised qualification.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Knowledge of relevant early childhood education frameworks, regulations, and standards.
