About the role
Located in Coorparoo we are seeking disability support workers with a strong background & understanding of behaviours to support our male client in his 30's. You will be assisting our client who has a ABI with all aspects of daily living as well as accessing the community. Client is 2:1 for a majority of shifts. The shifts consist of AM, PM & active ND. Shifts 0600-1200, 0600-1500, 1500-2200 (2:1) & active ND 2200-0600. We are seeking staff to fill all shifts.

Your key responsibilities
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Continence & bowel management
- Medication administration
- Domestic assistance
- Rehabilitation exercises
- Behavioural reporting
- Community access
About you
To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Previous disability experience (minimum 2 years)
- Manual handling experience (essential)
- Personal care experience
- Current First aid and CPR
- NDIS Worker Screening Card
- Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
