The Role:
Unidex Healthcare are seeking experienced, compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to partner with a participant based in Maryborough. High complex care experience is highly regarded, with onsite training also provided. Reliability and flexibility are required.
Rates:
From $42.50 day rate
Inactive night allowance $195.20
Shifts:
Must be available for flexible shift allocations on a 24/7 roster, inclduing inactive nights.
Duties:
- Stoma care
- PEG feeding and medication administration
- Rehabilitation assistance, including assisting with hydrotherapy sessions and stretching
- Following Allied Health recommendations
- Assistance with personal care
- Assistance with domestic tasks
- Manual handling, including turning and hoist transfers
Skills and Experience:
- Australian Driver Licence
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is essential
- HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication certificate is required
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current Yellow Card
- Current Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
- Relevant disability support or complex care experience highly regarded
