Domestic Services Assistants (Cleaner) - Casual
- Maintain clean and safe indoor and outdoor areas of Beechworth Health Service.
- Assist with day-to-day cleaning duties in accommodation and laundry services.

About the Role:
- Maintain the outdoor and indoor areas of Beechworth Health Service in a clean and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment
- Work effectively within a team environment
- Effectively and efficiently assist with day to day duties involved in clean accommodation within services areas, laundry and external environment (some manual handling)
- Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in accordance with operational requirements
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in ability to plan, organise and prioritise work, in an environment with multiple and conflicting demands.
- Demonstrated understanding of infection prevention and control principles, personal hygiene standards, and safe work practices relevant to healthcare settings.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with older people and people of diverse cultures.
- Initiative and the ability to work without direct supervision.
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Basic computer skills (Office Word & Excel).
- Current drivers’ licence (Essential)
- Previous cleaning/handyperson experience.
- Experience working in a health, retirement living, aged care or Not-For-Profit environment.
