Due to our expanding operations, our Underground division are looking for Driller Assistants. Whether you're completely new to the industry or have some experience, we are seeking applications from motivated individuals ready to learn on-the-job in a FIFO 2:1 roster flying out from Perth.
What does a Driller Assistant do?
As a Driller Assistant, you are a valued team member supporting the safe and efficient operations on a drilling rig. Your duties can include:
- Working under the direction of a Driller or Drilling Supervisor undertaking various labor duties
- Working safely and following EHS policies and procedures and conduct local risk control
- Loading and unloading of drilling equipment and materials. Assist in rigging up/down and moving to new drill locations.
- Handle rods and drilling tools, collect and handle samples, mix drilling fluids, carry out basic maintenance of tools and equipment, complete pre-start checks, and refuel vehicles
A few things we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working in a hands-on, physically demanding role.
- Previous offsiding experience is desirable but not essential
- Resident of WA (essential)
- Current Manual C Class Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (or ability to provide one)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Physical ability to lift 30kgs repetitively in a labour-intensive role
- Right to work in Australia
- Demonstrated personal commitment to safety
- A commitment to being part of a respectful workplace and work as part of a team.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join our dynamic team, based across our client sites on an 8 day on/ 6 day off roster. This is a FIFO field-based role that partners with operational leaders to manage EHS risk in the workplace, through implementation of our EHS management systems and programs. Building a successful relationship with our customers is crucial in delivering a strong EHS culture in the field.
