Driver - Concrete
- Operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and manage concrete discharge.
- Provide excellent customer service and complete delivery documentation.
As a Casual Agitator Driver with Concrite, based out of our Alexandria concrete plant, you'll play a key role in helping build our communities across Sydney. This flexible, ad hoc position is ideal for experienced drivers seeking casual work, with shifts offered based on operational requirements and customer demand.
You'll receive comprehensive training from a dedicated Driver Trainer to safely operate our Agitator Trucks and deliver quality concrete to our valued customers. From residential driveways to major infrastructure projects, you'll contribute to a wide range of construction projects while enjoying the flexibility of casual employment.
Your day will involve:
- Conducting daily pre-start vehicle checks and operating agitator trucks safely
- Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (full training provided)
- Delivering concrete to customer sites while providing excellent customer service
- Completing delivery documentation and related paperwork
- Communicating effectively with production and allocation teams regarding customer and project requirements
What are we looking for?
- Current HR driver's licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
- Current White Card, or willingness to obtain one
- A strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Reliability and flexibility to work shifts as required
- Experience or interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded
