Dynamics Solution Architect
Contract for 14 months with possible extension | Brisbane CBD
We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government client to recruit an Dynamics Solution Architect. In this role you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end solution design for the Resource Authority Register delivery team.
What you'll be doing:
- Analyse complex business requirements and translate them into detailed technical solution designs and architectural blueprints
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and technical requirements
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
- Develop solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and implementation roadmaps
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate solutions that enhance organisational capability
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout solution implementation phases
- Conduct solution reviews and validate that implementations align with agreed architectural standards and best practices
- Support pre-sales activities by defining solution scope, approach, and resource requirements for new opportunities
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and propose alternative solutions when require
What we're looking for?
- Over 3 years’ experience as a Solution Architect on large or complex enterprise Dynamics projects involving case management, permitting, licensing, grants, regulatory, or workflow-based transformation programs.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Customer Engagement, model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, Dataverse data modelling, security roles, and business units.
- Significant experience leading functional design, application configuration, security models, integration patterns, and user experience concerns.
- Deep understanding of table design, solution layering, ALM, deployment considerations, platform constraints, custom APIs, and PCF controls.
- Experience with Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI (secure APIs, asynchronous processing, semantic models, and data lineage).
- Proven success supporting Agile teams through discovery, design workshops, sprint planning, prototyping, design assurance, and defect triage.
- Ability to clearly explain technical trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
