Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) / Responsible Person –
An exciting opportunity to join the team of Just For Kids Preschool & Long Daycare Centre.
Just For Kids has been providing quality early childhood education and care for over 20 years. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) / Responsible Person to join our team and play an important role in establishing the culture and educational environment of the service.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ECT who is looking for more than just another teaching position. You will have the opportunity to join a new team from the beginning, contribute to the development of the centre and work closely with our management team.
For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to grow into a 2IC leadership position as the centre establishes and grows.
About the Role
As an ECT and experienced member of our team, you will:
- Develop and deliver engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Create nurturing and stimulating learning environments for children
- Build strong relationships with children and families
- Work collaboratively with and support fellow educators
- Act as a Responsible Person when required
- Support the day-to-day operation of the centre
- Maintain a strong understanding of the NQF, NQS and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the development of our new centre
- Have the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibilities as the centre grows
- Observe, assess and document children’s learning, development and progress to inform educational programming
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- Has previous experience within an early childhood education setting
- Has strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
- Is confident taking on Responsible Person responsibilities
- Is reliable, organised and a strong communicator
- Enjoys supporting and mentoring other educators
- Has leadership aspirations and is interested in progressing their career
- Holds a current NSW Working With Children Check and relevant First Aid qualifications
