Kidz Galore is a respected, local provider of childcare services, providing early childhood education for children aged 0-5 years. Established in 1995, Kidz Galore is owned by three families. As a family business, Kidz Galore retains personal touch, which we feel is most important when dealing with life’s most precious gift.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for passionate educators who promote children's education through their interests and plan learning opportunities therefrom. You will foster children's curiosity and create opportunities for children to grow and explore in small groups. We are offering several positions on multiple locations across Perth.

The ideal candidate will value the wonder of early learning within our upcycled learning environments and guide staff in providing a fun, safe, high-quality service that aligns with the National Quality Standards and is true to Kidz Galore’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide a safe and stimulating environment that meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of children and promotes their agency, choices, and influence.
2. Work as a team member and assist in providing a safe and stimulating environment that meets children's' needs and encourages parent participation.
3. Assist in delivering effective and valuable documentation of children learning in accordance with the centres' philosophy and the learning
4. outcomes of the EYLF.
5. Assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups.
6. Develop and maintain respectful, supportive, collaborative and responsive relationships with children and their families.
7. Take account of the different family needs and backgrounds and encourage their participation.
8. Stay informed about the current trends in policy changes within the sector and assist in developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures in accordance with the NQS and National Law, considering confidentiality.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and the development and maintenance of the service quality improvement plan, as directed by the director/coordinator and educational leader.

Skills & Qualifications

1. Diploma and/or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
2. 1 year experience in similar role
3. Current WA Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain)
4. Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificate. or willingness to obtain
5. Medically fit to work within a childcare environment
6. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and professional quality care
7. A great work ethic and communication skills with the ability to be proactive and take initiative.

We offer competitive remuneration based on skills and experience ($70,000 to $80,000 per annum).
