Position: Electrical Appliance Technician

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $80,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: South Ripley QLD 4306

Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical Appliance Technician to join their team servicing customers across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial AC units
• Perform repairs and maintenance on domestic appliances including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, ovens and other electrical appliances
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify faults and determine the most cost-effective solutions
• Install new AC systems and appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building codes
• Test repaired and newly installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety
• Maintain detailed service records and provide customers with clear explanations of work completed and recommendations for preventative maintenance
• Respond promptly to service calls and manage time efficiently to meet scheduled appointments
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and work practices relevant to electrical and mechanical systems
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional conduct and quality workmanship

Requirements:

• AQF Certificate III, Certificate IV or higher in relevant field
• At least 12 months of hands-on experience as an Electrical Appliance Technician
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current White Card
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
