An established multi-disciplinary building services consultancy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its growing team. You'll take ownership of electrical design packages from concept through to construction, working closely with senior engineers, architects, builders and clients. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step up, lead their own projects and build their profile in the industry.

What you'll be doing
- Designing electrical services including power, lighting, emergency lighting, communications, security and fire detection systems
- Preparing calculations for maximum demand, voltage drop, fault levels and cable sizing
- Producing specifications, reports and design documentation, and coordinating with drafters on drawings
- Ensuring designs comply with AS/NZS 3000, NCC Section J and other relevant standards
- Coordinating with other disciplines and stakeholders throughout design and construction
- Conducting site inspections, reviewing shop drawings and supporting projects through construction
- Mentoring graduate engineers as you grow
About you
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3–7 years' experience in building services electrical design, ideally within a consultancy
- Solid working knowledge of Australian Standards and the NCC
- Experience with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux/AGi32 or electrical calculation tools
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with clients and contractors
- Working towards (or holding) CPEng or RPEQ/RPEV registration is highly regarded
- Full working rights in Australia
