Are you a skilled Electrical Fitter with experience assembling and wiring electrical switchboards?
Our client is a well-established electrical and switchboard manufacturer with a strong pipeline of work. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join their Sydney-based workshop and play a key role in the assembly, wiring and testing of electrical switchboards.
The Role
Working as part of an experienced workshop team, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards and control panels
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and drawings
- Installing electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays and associated equipment
- Point-to-point wiring and termination
- Testing and quality checking completed switchboards
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Working collaboratively to meet production deadlines
What We're Looking For
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Electrical fitting or switchboard assembly experience
- Previous experience building and wiring electrical switchboards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
