Electrical Planner is required for a 3-month contract, 5/2 roster supporting fixed plant planning.

Our client is a leading bulk material handling operation supporting Australia's resources sector. Operating a large-scale fixed plant environment, they are committed to maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations through proactive maintenance planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your new role
As an Electrical Planner, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating weekly plans to support the ongoing reliability and performance of critical fixed plant assets.Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain weekly electrical maintenance schedules
  • Plan maintenance activities across conveyors, ship loaders, and fixed plant equipment
  • Coordinate labour, materials, tooling, and equipment requirements for scheduled work
  • Liaise closely with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams to optimise work execution
  • Ensure maintenance plans align with shutdown and operational requirements
  • Monitor work order progress and update maintenance schedules as required
  • Utilise JDE and Viziya systems to manage planning and maintenance activities
  • Promote best-practice planning and safety standards

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner or Electrical Planner role within mining, ports, heavy industry, or fixed plant environmentsStrong knowledge of electrical maintenance planning processesExperience working with conveyors, ship loaders, and/or large fixed plant assetsProficiency using JDE and Viziya maintenance management systemsStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsAbility to prioritise multiple work fronts and deliver accurate maintenance schedulesCommitment to safety and continuous improvement
