Electrical Spotter | Hervey Bay | QLD

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking Electrical Spotters for civil construction projects based in Hervey bay QLD .

These roles involve spotting plant and machinery while working around underground services and overhead powerlines , ensuring safe clearances and exclusion zones are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Spotting plant and machinery around underground services and overhead powerlines
• Maintaining safe exclusion zones and clearances from electrical infrastructure
• Communicating clearly with plant operators and site personnel
• Monitoring machinery movements and identifying potential electrical hazards
• Following site safety procedures and electrical safety requirements
• Assisting with general civil construction duties when required

Our Ideal Candidate

• Valid Electrical Spotters Ticket – Essential
• We will accept the following tickets/qualifications only:
  
  • 1656 – Introduction to Electrical Network Infrastructure for Authorised Persons (T0911)
  • T0838 / aXc 1009 – Working Safely On or Near Electrical Network Infrastructure in QLD (Contractors)
  • UETDREL006 – Work Safely in the Vicinity of Live Electrical Apparatus as a Non-Electrical Worker
• Previous Electrical Spotting experience is preferred, but not essential
• Current Drivers Licence
• Blue/White Construction Card
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and exclusion zones
• Ability to work 10–12 hour days and overtime as required

What We Can Offer

• $44 per hour + penalties
• 10–12 hour days with plenty of overtime available
• Travel allowances where applicable
• Ongoing work with projects running up to 2 years
• Multiple sites with opportunities to work close to home
