Role Available:
We are currently recruiting multiple Electrical Supervisors and Electricians for a major Defence infrastructure project based in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The project will involve electrical installation, infrastructure upgrades, testing and commissioning-related works across a Defence facility.
We welcome applications from electricians with commercial construction, industrial and infrastructure experience. Previous commissioning experience would be advantageous but is not essential
What’s On Offer
- Electrical Supervisors: $65–$75 p/h - flat rate
- Electricians: $54.56 - $58.90p/h (EBA-based, including site allowance) + penalties
- $40 per day travel allowance for both positions
- Casual employment
- 6–9 months of ongoing work
- Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities
- 8–10 hour days
- Immediate starts available
- Opportunity to work on a major Defence infrastructure project
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation and infrastructure upgrade works
- Cable installation, containment and terminations
- Electrical testing and commissioning support
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
- Working in accordance with site safety and quality requirements
- Supervising electrical trades and coordinating site activities (Supervisor positions)
Requirements
- Current unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence
- Australian citizenship held for more than 5 years
- Current driver's licence
- Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Supervisory experience required for Electrical Supervisor positions
- Commissioning experience advantageous but not essential
- Must be based in Adelaide
- Available to commence ASAP
- Ability to meet Defence site access and security requirements
