Your new company
Hays Trades & Labour are partnering with a range of leading electrical contractors across Melbourne who are seeking experienced A-Grade Electricians for ongoing projects throughout Melbourne.
We currently have opportunities available across:
- Commercial office fit-outs, warehouses and new builds throughout Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.
- Residential new build town houses, flats, and new housing construction projects
- Industrial facilities and switchboard manufacturing workshops
- Maintenance works, schools, healthcare facilities, and infrastructure projects
Your new role
You will be responsible for a range of electrical installation works including:
- Cable tray, cable ladder and conduit installation
- Rough-in and fit-off works across commercial, industrial and residential projects
- Switchboard installation, upgrades and terminations
- Fault-finding, testing and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Motor control and manufacturing switchboard assembly (desirable)
- Installation and maintenance of power, lighting and communication systems
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence/ Overseas Electrical Licence
- White Card
- EWP Licence (desirable but not essential)
- Own hand tools and transport
- Experience working on commercial, industrial and/or residential construction projects
