What you'll do
- Carry out electrical installations on systems up to 1000V AC
- Perform scheduled maintenance, statutory testing and inspections
- Work on breakdowns on mobile and fixed plant
- Service mobile drilling machines
- Install underground electrical and communications reticulation
What we're looking for
- A valid electrical license corresponding to the candidate's location
- A manual drivers licence
- Current Senior First Aid/CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certificates
- Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules
- A strong commitment to safety and a team-first attitude
Our Sites
For an electrician, that means real variety. Our sites cover gold, copper, zinc and lithium, for clients including Northern Star Resources, Genesis Minerals, Gold Fields, Liontown Resources, Greatland Gold, 29Metals and Rox Resources. You could be working on drill rigs and mobile plant, fixed plant, underground power and communications, and, at a number of our sites, automation and autonomous equipment.
Our sites are at different stages, so you can choose the kind of work that suits you:
- Steady, established operations. Long-running mines with proven systems and settled crews, like Jundee (since 2001) and Telfer (since 2005).
- Sites ramping up. Kathleen Valley, our largest-ever contract, is building towards full lithium production, and Golden Grove is expanding, so new infrastructure and new fleet are coming online.
- New operations. In the last 12 months we've started at Gwalia and Ulysses near Leonora, and at Youanmi in the Murchison, where underground electrical and communications systems are being built from scratch.
That scale means more sites, more pathways and more room to move than almost anywhere else in the industry, so you can build a long-term career without changing employers.
