Emergency Nurse - SASH, Central Coast

Our Emergency Nurses play a pivotal role in assisting Emergency vets with the treatment of our most critical patient; from treatments to procedures, imaging and surgery, these nurses are dedicated and skilled. We are looking for passionate, likeminded nurses who are excited by being challenged and who want to learn from some of the best in the industry

This is a full time position, with our emergency team operating 24 hours, 7 days and so availability to work a variety of shifts is required.

About You: 

We are looking for a passionate nurse who can work independently with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work.

  • A keen interest in Emergency work and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their critical care journey. 
  • An ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience in General Anaesthesia & ventilation is desirable but not essential. 
  • Confidence working in an extremely busy environment

To be considered for this position, applicants must have: 

  • Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 
  • A minimum of 3 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse 
  • Previous experience in emergency would be highly regarded but is not essential. 
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster including overnights and weekends
