Prospero Teaching is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Secondary English Teacher to join one of our partner independent schools in South-West Sydney on a permanent basis.

English Teacher key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across secondary year levels
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the NSW English curriculum
- Develop students' literacy, communication, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Build strong relationships with students, colleagues and families
- Contribute to faculty planning and the wider school community
What we're looking for
- Current NESA registration (Conditional, Provisional or Proficient)
- Relevant Secondary Teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English across secondary year levels
- Strong knowledge of the NSW English curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
- Commitment to student wellbeing and positive learning outcomes
