The Role

Benetas St Paul’s Terrace is home to 80 residents in Frankston South, with sweeping views across Port Phillip Bay and the city from its open-air terraces.

We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a 12-month max-term contract, working a consistent Night Duty roster of four shifts per fortnight:

• Week 1: Saturday and Sunday – Night Duty
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday – Night Duty

This is a great opportunity for an experienced EN looking for the security of a regular roster while maintaining flexibility outside of their set shifts.

Our Nurses deliver specialised, high quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes. Each day, they have the chance to apply their skills in a meaningful way, have more autonomy for critical thinking and space to make a positive impact within their communities.

• Apply clinical skills and up to date knowledge of the aging process to residents within the home
• Be responsive to resident's care through tailoring holistic care to meet individual needs
• Respect and promote dignity, privacy and confidentiality of each resident at all times
• Systematically plan, implement and evaluate care, and oversee accurate and timely documentation 
• Spend time with the residents to connect, share stories and show empathy

About you

• Availability and commitment to the advertised 4-shift-per-fortnight Night Duty roster for the 12-month contract period
• Current Division 2 nursing registration with AHRPA 
• Experience creating genuine connections with clients and families and team members
• Understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration 
• The ability to show empathy and treat others with dignity and respect, and a collaborative approach to working with residents, staff, colleagues and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrate the application of clinical skills in areas such as tissue viability, continence management, dementia/behaviour management, infection control, amongst others
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance ID or ability to obtain
