Parking Officer opportunity with a well-established local government organisation on Sydneys Lower North Shore. Work 38 hours per week across either four or five days.
Your new companyThis respected local government organisation is committed to keeping its community safe, accessible and well managed. They are seeking a confident and professional Parking Officer to join their compliance team in a hands-on, community-facing role.
Your new role

• Patrol streets, car parks and regulated parking areas
• Monitor compliance with parking restrictions and relevant legislation
• Issue penalty notices accurately, consistently and fairly
• Educate members of the public and respond professionally to enquiries
• Manage difficult interactions calmly and respectfully
• Maintain accurate records, reports and photographic evidence
• Support broader community safety and compliance activities when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in parking, regulatory services, compliance, security, enforcement or a customer-facing role
• Strong communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
• Confidence working independently and outdoors in a public-facing environment
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
• A current Australian driver licence
• Availability to work 38 hours per week across either four or five days
