About the Opportunity:
Churches of Christ Queensland is seeking dedicated Environmental Service Workers to join our Residential Aged Care home in Toowoomba, a 78-bed facility committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Assisting with food preparation and food service
- Setting up and cleaning the dining areas
- Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen, communal areas and resident rooms
- Laundering of resident clothing, towels and linen
- Supporting infection control and hygiene standards
About you:
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with older people and brings a positive, team-focused attitude to their work. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, compassionate, and take pride in their work.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven experience in commercial food preparation, food service, or cleaning
- A strong understanding of food safety practices
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Valid Australian work rights (Sponsorship is not available for this role)
