EOI - Coded Welder

Suitable candidates will be contacted as roles become available. Premier People are working with WA’s leading engineering contractors within fixed plant maintenance. They are requesting Coded Welders across the below dates. The scope of work varies and is client dependent but can be expected to include, and is not limited to, structural welding, shutdown maintenance, fixed plant repairs, fabrication, crack remediation, wear plate replacement, conveyors, chutes, crushers, mills, stackers and reclaimers. Welding methods and positions will be site specific but will typically include MMA (Stick), FCAW, GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) across 1G–6G positions, including all positional plate and pipe work. We cover BHP, RTIO, Roy Hill, and various Goldfields sites. Preferred: Australian Trade Certificate / Welding Qualifications or International Trade Certificate RPL recognised in Australia Current welding codings (e.g. AS 1554 / ISO 9606 – plate & pipe, site dependent) Competency across MMA, FCAW, GMAW and/or GTAW processes MSIC Drivers licence Essential: Trade qualified / qualified coded welder Ability to weld in all positional welds (1G - 6G) as required Working at Heights (within 2 years) Confined Spaces (within 2 years) Gas Testing Atmospheres (within 2 years) Basic Fire (within 2 years) White Card – physical card (not certificate) Full working rights – no limitations on visas
