About Our Client
Our client is a leading Australian Mining and Resource client with operations and exploration projects across the Bowen and Surat basins, with four major coal-producing assets supplying metallurgical coal to a global market. They holda strong track record of performance in developing, operating and rehabilitating coal resources to produce export metallurgical coal for steel making.
What you will be Doing
You will be working as an Excavator Operator on a coal mine in the Moranbah region. You will be required to safely operate CAT6040, Hitachi EX5600 or Liebherr 996 Excavators. The successful candidate will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster, day and night shift Thurs-Wed. These roles are available to BIBO (Mackay), DIDO and residential candidates.
What you will need
- Previous experience operating a CAT6060, 6040, Hitachi EX3600 or EX5600 or Liebherr 996 Excavator within a coal mining environment
- You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
- SSE signed skills list
- Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
