Hays are currently seeking experienced Plant Operators with proven experience operating Excavators and Loaders to join a busy waste and resource recovery facility located in Melbourne's northern suburbs.This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established organisation, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.Your new role
Your New RoleReporting to the Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating excavators and loaders in a busy landfill and resource recovery environment
• Material handling and stockpile management
• Loading trucks and mobile plant interaction
• Earthmoving and compaction support
• Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance
• Maintaining a safe and efficient worksite
• Working closely with site personnel to achieve operational targets

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience operating Excavators and LoadersRelevant plant operating tickets/licencesStrong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentReliable transport and a strong work ethicAbility to pass a National Police CheckAvailability to commence immediatelyWhat you'll get in return
