Genus Plus Group is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced FIFO HVAC & Refrigeration Technicians and S26 Supervisors to support upcoming works on the BHP Warrawandu Village Rejuvenation Project.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-structured project within BHP’s Pilbara operations, contributing to the upgrade and improvement of accommodation and village facilities.
About the Project
The Warrawandu Village Rejuvenation Project is a large-scale camp upgrade focused on enhancing site accommodation infrastructure.
You’ll be working within a clearly defined scope, supported by strong leadership, established systems, and consistent delivery expectations.
Scope of Work
- GPO replacements
- Light switch replacements
- Lighting upgrades and replacements
- Fan replacements
- Air conditioning cleaning
Roles Available S26 Supervisor (Non-Working)
- Off-the-tools leadership role
- Oversee site operations, safety compliance, and documentation
- Drive productivity and maintain high performance across crews
HVAC / Refrigeration Technicians & Electricians
- Work within structured crews (panel-based teams)
- Deliver camp maintenance and upgrade works
- Dual trade candidates highly regarded (Electrical + Refrigerant Handling Licence)
Project Details
- Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off
- Flights: Perth to Newman
- Shifts: 12-hour days | Dayshift only (6:00am – 6:00pm)
- Duration: 5–6 months
- Accommodation: Warrawandu Village Camp
- Employment Type: Casual
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant trade qualification (Electrical Licence or HVAC/Refrigeration Trade)
- Refrigerant Handling Licence (highly regarded)
- Section 26 Supervisor Certificate (for Supervisor roles)
- Experience in camp maintenance, refurbishments, or village projects
- Strong safety focus with ability to work in structured teams
- WA-based candidates only
- BHP induction highly regarded (priority given)
