Your new company
An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a well-established Tasmanian business on a temporary to permanent basis.

Your new role
This is a diverse and hands-on role where you will support day-to-day finance operations while working closely with an experienced accounting team. The organisation offers a collaborative culture, varied responsibilities and the opportunity to build a long-term career.
Key responsibilities will include:
Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Bank, credit card and general ledger reconciliations
Payroll processing, superannuation and payroll tax administration
BAS preparation support and month-end processing
Debtor management and cash flow monitoring
Financial reporting and budget support
Maintaining accurate employee records and assisting with HR administration
Project financial administration and reporting
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant, Accounts Officer or Bookkeeper position
Strong working knowledge of Xero
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Well-developed organisational and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
