Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy and compliance of financial reporting across the business. This is a hands-on position offering broad exposure across financial accounting, statutory compliance, audit management and stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing complex journals, reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Managing balance sheet integrity and ensuring robust financial controls
• Supporting BAS, FBT and statutory compliance obligations
• Producing accurate monthly management reports, variance analysis and financial insights
• Assisting with year-end reporting, external audits and statutory financial statements
• Partnering with operational and leadership stakeholders to provide financial guidance
• Driving process improvements, documentation standards and automation initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements within a not-for-profit environment

What you'll need to succeed

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a senior financial accounting role.
• Strong technical accounting and statutory reporting expertise.
• Experience managing audits and compliance requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems skills.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
