We are currently seeking motivated and skilled Fitters/HD Fitters & Diesel Motor Mechanic, to join our team based at our Malaga workshop. These are permanent, full-time positions. These roles offer competitive hourly rates, overtime penalties, and allowances.
Fitters/HD Fitters
Accountabilities of the role:
- Maintain and adhere to a safe work environment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mobile mechanical equipment
- Carry out designated tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Carry out equipment repair and defect repair.
- Perform inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the most effective solutions.
- Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize equipment performance.
- Maintaining equipment to OEM standards.
About you:
- Relevant Trade Qualifications
- CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi experience.
- Experience in use of sis - Cat ET.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.
- Be able to complete a pre-employment medical screening.
- Hold a Manual Driver’s License, White/Blue Card, Forklift Ticket.
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000
Diesel Motor Mechanic
Accountabilities of the role:
- Responsible for all aspects of commissioning, maintenance and repair of machinery and vehicles, ensuring functionality and reliability of all engines, machines and mechanical systems.
- Responsible for building and assembly of mechanical components.
- Inspection of machinery, engines and transmission; run diagnostic tests to discover functionality.
- Undertake repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Diagnose reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and safe.
About You
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and service information.
- Good problem-solving and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000
