Less Talk Express Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced full-time Fleet Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our vehicle fleet and ensuring that fleet operations are efficient, safe, reliable and compliant with relevant requirements.
Due to the ongoing needs of our operations, we are looking for an organised and experienced Fleet Manager with strong operational and problem-solving skills to coordinate our fleet and support the efficient delivery of our services.
What you will do:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operation and utilisation of the company’s vehicle fleet.
- Plan and allocate vehicles to meet operational and transport requirements efficiently.
- Monitor vehicle availability, usage, performance and operating costs.
- Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime and ensure fleet reliability.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, including registrations, servicing schedules, maintenance records and other relevant documentation.
- Monitor fuel usage, maintenance expenses and other fleet-related costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Ensure vehicles comply with applicable safety, registration and operational requirements.
- Liaise with drivers, mechanics, suppliers, service providers and other relevant parties regarding fleet operations.
- Monitor vehicle condition and arrange inspections, repairs and replacement of vehicles where required.
- Develop and implement fleet procedures to improve safety, efficiency and vehicle utilisation.
- Assist with the acquisition, disposal and replacement of fleet vehicles in accordance with operational requirements.
- Prepare reports and maintain records relating to fleet performance, costs, maintenance and utilisation.
- Ensure drivers and fleet operations comply with company policies and relevant workplace health and safety procedures.
We are looking for someone who is able to join us on a permanent and full-time basis. This is not a trainee position, so please only apply if you have at least 1 year of full-time relevant experience.
We are offering a competitive salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
