Your new company
HAYS has partnered with a global supplier of high quality timber and is cost-effective in modular buildings. Having raw materials from their own sawmills, they provide high-quality service. With their current workload overflowing, the team in Hemmant, Brisbane, are looking for an experienced forklift operator to join their team.
Your new role
As their new forklift operator, you will have the responsibilities of the following but not limited to:
- Operate 5T counterbalance forklifts
- Moving timber from the warehouse and yard and assisting in loading trucks
- Collaborate with the team on deadlines and achieving daily targets
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe warehouse and yard
- Be able to assist in the treatment room and any other labouring duties when required
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will have the following:
- Valid High Risk Work - LF Forklift Licence
- Previous experience operating from a 5T counterbalance forklift
- Experience with transporting and moving timber is highly desirable
- Own reliable transport No public transport available at site location

- Shift times are 5:00am -2:00pm Monday to Thursday (includes overtime) & 5:00am -12:30pm on Fridays.
