Forklift operator
- Operate a forklift to move and rotate stock including heavy metal products.
- Load and unload trucks and containers while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Commit to workplace safety and handle physically demanding tasks.
Position: Forklift Operator
Location: Novar Gardens, SA
Employment Type: Ongoing assignment
Shift: Day and afternoon shifts
Required Licence: Current LF Forklift Licence
Key Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to move and rotate stock, including metal beams and other steel products.
Safely move heavy metal plates, coils, pipes and beams around manufacturing floors and outdoor storage yards.
Load and unload flatbed trucks, shipping containers and delivery vehicles.
Organise stock in outdoor storage areas and ensure loads are balanced and secured safely.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Current LF Forklift Licence.
Previous forklift operating experience, preferably handling heavy or oversized metal products.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
PPE Requirements
Yellow high-visibility clothing
Long pants
Steel-capped safety boots
Pre-Employment Requirements
