The Opportunity

Mitolo Family Farms is a leading food production company seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join our fast-paced manufacturing operations in Virginia and Penfield.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a busy production environment
• Load, unload, and move stock and materials, including loading trucks
• Work confidently in tight spaces and fast-moving production areas shared with pedestrians
• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as required
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and hygiene standards at all times

What we are looking for

• Valid forklift licence with demonstrated experience in safe operation
• Proven forklift operating experience (electric or gas forklifts)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (warehouse, manufacturing, or similar preferred)
• Strong focus on safety in tight working spaces
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

Note: This role is not suited to newly licensed operators without practical experience.

Recruitment Process

• A practical forklift driving assessment at our production site
• A pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
