    About the Opportunity

Are you a passionate physiotherapist looking to build your clinical skills, gain valuable hands-on experience, and make a meaningful difference in people's lives?

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Junior Physiotherapist with less than three years of professional experience to join a supportive, multidisciplinary allied health team specialising in neurological rehabilitation and complex rehabilitation needs.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career physiotherapist who is eager to learn, develop clinical confidence, and support clients in achieving their functional goals, independence, and quality of life.

You will have the opportunity to work across clinic-based and community settings, delivering personalised, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs and goals.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess clients' physical function, mobility, balance, strength, and movement limitations.
    • Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practice.
    • Deliver rehabilitation services in clinic and community environments, including home and other appropriate settings.
    • Support clients living with neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, and other complex rehabilitation needs.
    • Provide therapeutic exercise, functional mobility training, gait retraining, balance training, and client and family education.
    • Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech pathologists, exercise physiologists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve coordinated client outcomes.
    • Monitor progress, document clinical findings, and adjust treatment plans according to client needs.
    • Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and ongoing learning to strengthen clinical knowledge and skills.
    • Promote client independence, safety, participation, and overall quality of life.
    About You

We welcome applications from junior physiotherapists who are enthusiastic about learning and growing within a supportive clinical environment.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • A recognised physiotherapy qualification.
    • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or eligibility to obtain registration before commencing employment.
    • Less than three years of professional physiotherapy experience, including suitable early-career applicants.
    • An interest in neurological rehabilitation, disability services, and complex rehabilitation.
    • A willingness to work across both clinic-based and community settings.
    • Good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
    • A compassionate, respectful, and client-centred approach to care.
    • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
    • A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
    • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel for community visits, as required.

New graduates and early-career physiotherapists are encouraged to apply. Previous specialised neurological physiotherapy experience is beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.

    What We Offer
    • A supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team.
    • Opportunities to develop skills in neurological and complex rehabilitation.
    • Experience delivering therapy in both clinic and community environments.
    • Opportunities for clinical mentoring, supervision, and professional development.
    • Exposure to a diverse range of clinical presentations and rehabilitation approaches.
    • A person-centred working environment that values compassion, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
    • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and their families.
