Job Description
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and software solutions.
- Design and build cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate requirements into technical outcomes.
- Develop and support front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and programming languages.
- Create, maintain, and optimise APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and maintainable code.
- Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation of applications.
- Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, and cloud governance standards.
- Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and team members where required.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong experience in full stack software development across both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying applications in AWS environments.
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of API development, integrations, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database design, development, and performance optimisation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong focus on security, quality, and scalability.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
