In this hands-on role, you will be working on poultry farms completing a range of duties focused on poultry health and farm operations.Duties include:
- Vaccinating chickens (chest vaccination)
- Winging birds
- Eye-dropping birds
- Catching and handling chickens safely
- Carrying pen surrounds and farm equipment
- Assisting with general labouring duties on farms
- Maintaining animal welfare and hygiene standards
- Working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
This role requires regular travel throughout regional New South Wales and, at times, Queensland and Victoria depending on operational requirements and where workers are needed.Travel to and from job sites is provided by the company via company vans, along with accommodation when required.
