As our Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you will lead the GM&E Sales team and drive revenue performance across groups, meetings and events. You’ll develop and execute commercial strategies, identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, maximise total hotel revenue and work closely with the wider Commercial, Marketing and Food & Beverage teams.

As a Groups, Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you’re not just driving event sales, you’re leading and developing a high-performing team, building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth through effective commercial strategies.   • Physically based in the Perth Metropolitan Area or willing to relocate (no relocation allowance is offered
  • Previous experience in Groups, Meetings & Events Sales, Hotel Sales, or a similar commercial role
  • Proven experience in leading and developing a high-performing sales team
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in driving revenue, forecasting and achieving sales targets
  • Strong client relationship management, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and analyse market and competitor trends
  • Experience with Delphi or similar hotel sales and event management systems
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies: Work closely with the Commercial Director, Sales Team, Revenue and Director of Finance to formulate revenue plans, sales strategies and action plans across key market segments.
  • Build strong client relationships: Take personal responsibility for key accounts, understand client needs and decision-making processes, and identify opportunities to secure new and repeat business.
  • Identify new business opportunities: Continuously review the customer base, conduct market and industry research, monitor competitor activity and build relationships with key industry partners to generate future business.
  • Monitor performance and forecasting: Review and report on revenue streams, sales activities and forecasts, using data and market intelligence to identify opportunities and guide future activities.
  • Maximise event opportunities: Use effective upselling techniques and innovative ideas to help clients create memorable events within their budget while maximising revenue opportunities for the hotel.
  • Collaborate across the hotel: Partner closely with Marketing, Food & Beverage and the wider Commercial team to develop sales, marketing and promotional opportunities and ensure a seamless client experience.
