HC Flocon Truck Driver
- Drive an HC Flocon truck transporting hot mix asphalt from the plant to paving crews on road projects across South Australia.
- Coordinate safely with paving crews and supervisors, follow traffic and fatigue management requirements, and complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
- A current HC licence, good driving record, availability for day and night shifts, and a White Card held or booked before starting are required; Flocon experience is not necessary.
- Flocon training: No Flocon experience needed. We train you on the truck.

About the role
As an HC Flocon Truck Driver with Bitu-mill’s South Australian paving crews, you will cart hot mix asphalt from the plant to the paving crew on road projects across SA, based at Wingfield. This is a full-time role on day and night shifts, set by the paving programme.
What you will be doing
- Drive an HC Flocon carrying hot mix asphalt from the plant to paving crews, keeping loads arriving on time and in spec.
- Work with the paving crew, supervisors and ground crew to position and discharge loads safely on site.
- Complete daily pre-starts and vehicle checks, keep the truck clean and serviceable, and report defects promptly.
- Follow traffic management plans, site rules and fatigue management requirements, on days or nights.
- Complete run sheets and delivery dockets accurately.
What you will bring:
- A current HC licence and a good driving record.
- Genuine availability for both day and night shifts. The programme sets the roster.
- A White Card, held or booked before you start on site.
- Clear radio communication and the judgement to stop work when conditions are unsafe.
- HC driving in construction, tipper, quarry or asphalt work is helpful. Flocon experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
