Mansfield District Hospital is seeking caring and committed Health Care Workers to join our dedicated team at Bindaree Aged Care.

We have Casual and Part Time opportunities available, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Successful applicants will be available to work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon and night shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays.

About the Role

As a Health Care Worker, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality personal and lifestyle care to our residents. Working alongside our experienced nursing team, you will provide compassionate support that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Supporting residents with meals, mobility and lifestyle activities.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health and wellbeing.
  • Working collaboratively with nurses and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Contributing to a safe, respectful and welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or an equivalent qualification.
  • A genuine passion for caring for older people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A commitment to delivering person-centred care.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

Previous experience in residential aged care will be highly regarded but is not essential.
